General Xemphos Grimeye's Biography

Ironically to his current state, Xemphos used to be a loathsome Balrog brutish and cruel demon before he was transformed into a brilliant and tactical General. He, and his brother, were used as test subjects by the Three's in a wicked experiment. Xemphos Grimeye, product of the deep cuts on his face, had suffered dramatical changes on his body. His brain increased six times its former size, therefore most of the blood torrent had to irrigate his overgrown organ, leaving his skin white and with a minimun blood perfusion; his arms, finger and speciallly his nails grew longer, thus making excellent melee weapons out of them. Finally under a trance he carved most of his body with demon symbols of power and a pentagram on his forehead.

General Grimeye acquired amazing arcane powers which slowly disfigured his demon face with the pass of time as they turned much more powerful. Some demons said he had earned the ability to foreseen things, which would explain its tactics and strategy skills. Skills that were the key of many victories in the name of their masters the Three Brothers of Hell.

One of this victories took place on the Pandemonium Fortress Siege. He secretly led the armies that fought Zeth Whitewrath (the current Holy Avenger at that time) and his son Zeth Holyblade, as well as other High Heavens Council member such as Odriel, Neferid and Isbasits. With the intervention of the Three the battle quickly became a victory for the forces of Hell, as for Xemphos, he cowardly killed the weakened Zeth Whitewrath and wounded his son badly. Judging the two as dead, he left them in the middle of the plains among the remains of many dead angels and demons, while he left the fortess intact, their masters told him it would be a symbol of Heaven's defeat. He was wrong.

A short time passed since the demon victory. General Xemphos was sent not to the Eastern lands where the Sin War was taking place, but far to the West, to the purpose of advancing with the construction of a Hell Outpost and make the invasion of these lands easier for the forces of Chaos.

The High Heavens council proceeded carefully on this matter. They had accorded not intervining directly on mortal matters, but letting a human take care of Xemphos was as stupid as insane. As a way to test the in-training Holy Avenger Zeth Holyblade, they sent him on mortal form, as a true human instead of a disguised angel.

By the time Zeth Holyblade arrived Xemphos had already taken most of the countryside. He searched for his prey until he got to a Seminary, where locals had said the demon attack began. "Xemphos is near" he said as he went deeper, just to find the means that would teleport him to the true lair where the demon was waiting for him.

After defeating the General's Elite Guard and their captain. Zeth Holyblade faced Xemphos, the demon was about 3 or 4 times his size and optimum conditions unlike his mortal opponent. But Good will always prevail upon Evil, Zeth Holyblade used every single resource he could find and finally released his power to defeat and erradicate the demon.

The General's soul went straight to the Abyss to join other fallen heroes of hell.

ABOUT THIS PICTURE:

As I described in the previous advances I had worked 40mins (1st advance) and 20 mins more (2nd advance) Today, I worked 15mins and finished it + 5 additional ones on photoshop to clean it a bit and add the black thing around the pic that I dont remember how is it named on english.

I used the closest tools I had at hand such as a Faber Castell 031 MEDIUM black ink pen, an A4 White Bond sheet and my THICK-cover 1988 world Atlas (as surface of work)

Lets play a little game yo, find the message "By Zeth Holyblade" on the character, no, its not written, but it's just there.


Xemphos Kinda reminds you of the Dreadlord of Warcraft eh?
