Trapped with a possible AH1N1

So now I'm doing my 3rd unit at my Medicine Internship... which is Internal Medicine. A 14 years old patient was admited to my service 2 days ago who's on isolation due to a probable case of AH1N1. I've had contact with this patient like 3 times (since I have to check on him daily) with the proper protection still.

The only thing that worries me is that I've been with sneezing for 4days and today I started coughing.

I hope I didn't catch anything here... not just this so called AH1N1 virus but some other serious diseases that are around on this service like Nosocomial Pneumonia or Milliar Tuberculosis

Well... as always I'm too busy to continue so I'd better be going for now.

From what I gather AH1N1 certainly isn't as bad to have as those other two you mentioned.

Try not to worry too much about it and stay strong. Sometimes if you let your guard down and worry alot that can do just as much harm too hmmm kinda like willpower hard to explain hehe.

Well the lil kid happened to be a confirmed case in the end

yet nothing happened to me. We also found out here that another patient we had, a much severely compromised one, was also infected with the AH1N1, yet nothing happened to us cuz of the elapsed time until we had contact

Well it has been spread widely, makes it a serious threath. I'm just saying I've been exposed here at my workplace and luckly I didn't catch anything ;o
